Sweet Boondi Laadu For Festival Occasions


  • 1 cup of gram flour
  • pinch of baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • oil for deep fry
  • 2 spoon of tooty fruity


  • In a bowl take gram flour and add pinch of baking soda to it.
  • Add water to it to make a smooth and little thick paste.
  • Keep the oil for it to make deep fry
  • Prepare the sugar syrup of 2 string consistency
  • Take a slotted big saute to make the ladu shapes
  • spread the batter slowly on the saute by keeping saute above the oil
  • Shake the saute to drop the small rounds of batter
  • Fry it to make a light golden color and put it on a white paper or tissue
  • Then add these fried laadu in the sugar syrup
  • Leave it for 1 hour to observed the sugar syrup
  • Then drain the excess sugar content and put it to dry for an hour
  • decorate it using tooty fruity Later serve it
