DESCRIPTION:

Indian style pasta

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup pasta
  • 1 tsp oil,
  • 1 tsp butter,
  • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped,
  • 1 inch ginger, finely chopped,
  • ½ onion, finely chopped,
  • 1 cup tomato pulp,
  • ¼ tsp turmeric ,
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp corn(optional)
  • ¼ capsicum, finely chopped
  • ¼ carrot, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp peas / matar
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 chillyflake
  • salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • In a pan boil enough water and add 1 cup pasta and ½ tsp salt. stir well and boil as mentioned on package. drain off the water and keep aside.
  • now in a kadai heat 1 tsp oil and 1 tsp butter.saute ginger and garlic.then add onion and cook till they turn soft.
  • add tomato pulp keep stirring till the tomato pulp thickens.then add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and salt.saute till the spices gets cooked completely.
  • now add corn, capsicum, carrot, peas saute for a minute.add in some water and mix well.cover and simmer till vegetables get cooked well .now add in tomato sauce
  • oregano, chilli flakes and mix well.add in cooked pasta and mix gently till the sauce gets coated well.
  • serve hot.
