DESCRIPTION:

PALAK POORI

INGREDIENTS:

  • Wheat flour – 2.5 cup
  • PALAK PUREE-11/2 cup
  • Oil – 2 tbs
  • Green chilly paste -2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin seeds – ΒΌ tsp
  • oil for deep-frying

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • In a bowl add spinach puree, salt, cumin seeds, chilly paste and oil into the wheat flour. and knead a stiff dough of it.
  • add water if needed. Cover and rest the dough for 10 minutes.
  • Now make small balls from the dough and dust with flour and roll to make medium thick pooris.Heat oil in a deep pan and gently slide the poori in the hot oil.Fry from both the sides till golden in colour, remove from the pan and drain on a paper napkin.
  • serve PALAK POORI with CHUTNEY, RAITA
  • or khatamitha NIMBU ka ACHAR
