INGREDIENTS:

  • Ingredients:
  • Red chilly 6 numbers
  • Coriander powder 3 tsp
  • Tamarind one lemon size ball
  • Salt to taste
  • Sesame seeds 2 tsp
  • Methi seeds 1 tsp
  • Begalgram dhal 2 tsp
  • Urad dhal 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida a pinch
  • Curry leaves little
  • Jeera 2 tsp
  • Peppercorn 2 tsp
  • Oil 3 tbs
  • Mustard seeds 2 tsp
  • Ground nut 1/2 cup
  • Dried coconut grated 1/2 cup

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Fry Red chilly, coriander powder, sesame seeds, pepper, jeera, urad dhal, Bengal gram dhal, methi, mustard seeds(1 tsp) separately. Grind these into fine powder. Add coconut too.
  • Take a little hot water put tamarind and squeeze out the pulp. Add 3 tsp grated jaggery.
  • For seasoning:
  • Add oil to the vessel, put mustard seeds, add curry leaves, groundnut and fry until it turns brown.
  • Now add powdered masalas mix well. Add salt, mix cooked rice properly. Yummy, tangy, sipcy puliyogare is read to serve. This mix also can be stored and it can used whenever required instantly.
