INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 4-5 green chillies
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 3 cup of rice flour
  • 2 cup of water
  • salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • 1. First take a bowl add 1 cup of water to boil
  • 2. Once the water starts to boil put the rice flour in the center & leave it for 10 mind in low flame
  • 3. After 10 mins turn off the gas continuously stir it and break the lumps & let it cool for 10 mins
  • 4. Next add the chopped carrot, onions,curry leaves, coriander leaves,tsp cumin seeds, green chillies,tsp oil & salt to taste
  • 5. Mix it to form soft dough. From this dough make small balls
  • 6. Take two thick square plastic sheet grease the plastic sheet with oil. Keep the ball between the plastic sheet
  • 7. With the help of chapati roller flatten the dough balls
  • 8. Take a flat pan and start to hear & put the rolled dough on to the pan
  • 9. Cook till it burns light brown
  • 10. Thalli pattu is ready to eat. It is well served with chattni
