DESCRIPTION:

It is also called as pesarattu dosa .A popular breakfast of Andra Pradesh. This is healthy and spicy dosa .Instead of urad dal green gram is used , so it is healthy and for spicy am using green chillies and ginger

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup green gram
  • 1 cup dosa rice
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 6-7 cloves garlic (optional)
  • 1 tsp cumin/jeera
  • Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Soak the green gram and rice for over night
  • Next morning, grind green gram, rice, ginger, garlic and chilli along with little water
  • The batter smoothness and consistency is similar to dosa batter
  • Add cumin and salt to the batter.Heat a tawa ,pour one ladle and spread it into thin circle
  • Add ghee/oil to the edges and cook on both sides
  • Serve hot with chutney and sambar
