DESCRIPTION:

Pudina chutney (Mint Chutney) is one of the healthy sides for roti or parathas. Mint is having a great medicinal value helps digestion, stomach ache problems and it is used in most of the cosmetic products for a cool effect.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup pudina/mint leaves
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts (optinal)
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 green chilli
  • 7-8 garlic gloves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tsp grated jaggery
  • 1 tsp tamarind extract
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice(optional)
  • For seasoning- 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp urad dal

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Wash the mint leaves and dry roast chilli,mint leaves,coriander for 2-3min
  • Grind the leaves and above ingredients to smooth paste
  • Heat a oil in pan, splutter mustard ,urad dal and pour on mint chutney.
  • serve chutney with parathas and roti
