Onion paratha tasty and easily cookable parathas, prepared simply by stuffing with onion , chilli and spices in a wheat flour mix.


  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • 2 big onions chopped
  • 3 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  • 4 tsp salt


  • Mix wheat flour, 2 tsp salt, water and kneed a soft dough. Rest for 30min
  • Pinch a small amount of dough and make a 3-4 inch round by rolling it on the work surface.
  • Fill onion,chilli,sprinkle salt chilli powder and garam masala
  • Bring the edges to the centre and seal it
  • And roll it again with a rolling pin
  • Heat a tawa or frying pan and cook it on medium to low flame
  • Once one side starts to get cooked flip it, sprinkle oil and cook the other side
  • Follow the same process to prepare the remaining parathas
